This photo was listed on the Pennington County Historical Society website as "unknown boy," but it is obviously Lawrence Martinson, the son of my great-great aunt Bertha Bugge and her husband Rasmus Martinson. See posts below.
Photo of Eresfjorden fra Bugge, which translates to "The Inlets from Bugge" - Indre Bugge is a place located in Mode og Romsdal in Molde. In a postcard sent from Norway by Jon Bugge to the Martinson family in Minnesota, the picture on the postcard is titled: Skorgegaarden indre Bugge. Gaard means "farm" in Norwegian...so this postcard was likely from home on the farm in Indre, Bugge.
This is Peder Bugge, the brother of my great-grandfather Christ, with his wife Petrine and their children. Peder and Petrine are seated. The two older children in the back are Petra Marie and Iver T. Bugge. The boy in the center is George Ingman and the two little girls in front are Hilda P. and Chrsitine Josephine (Josie) Bugge.
This is a family photo that includes my great-great grandmother Ingaborg) and my great-grandparents (Christ and Lena). In the front row from left to right are Inga Holland, the wife of John Nelson (name unknown at this time), Bertha Bugge-Martinson, Ingaborg Bugge, Mary Bugge-Holland and Alma Fredrika Berggren-Bugge.
